I am attuned to the cycles of life within landscapes and the repercussions of humanity’s relationship with the natural world. My work extends beyond simply depicting what I see; rather, I strive to tell stories that reflect the intricate relationships between living beings, the environments we inhabit, and the connections we form with those we love and encounter.
Through an exploration of materiality, I engage with the melancholy and devastation inherent in life’s mortality, while also honouring the beauty, tenderness, and fleeting moments that exist within the environment. My practice considers the continual cycles of growth, decay, loss, and renewal, and the fragile connections between life and the environment.
